hello, i am nara . i am a 26 year old from a small town in the uk . i am currently living and studying in beijing, china .
i was a software engineer, working at a startup doing firmware development, until i quit in early 2025 . i am currently enjoying reading text on my computer screen, taking photos, watching movies, and talking to people, just like everybody else . i want to learn chinese someday . i am also looking for advice and help on how to live better . a big thing for me recently has been quitting my phone, which sounds simple but is not if you have used one for most of the day every day for roughly half of your life .
